As you know, this suite takes me out of my comfort zone. However, I am still challenging myself to use stamps that do just that.

I recently posted a video showing how I used the accompanying framelits to make a box, so today I decided on a simple card using the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper from the suite, plus one of the stamps.

I used thick Whisper White to make the card blank. Then taking the border stamp I heat embossed it in white down one edge of the card. I loaded a sponge with Night of Navy ink and, in a circular motion, inked over the stamped image and around the edges of the card face.

I then cut another piece of Whisper White and a piece of Designer Series Paper a little smaller and glued them together. I decided not to ink the edges because I really wanted it to pop. I placed it on the card, before cutting another piece of Whisper White which I inked and layered with some more DSP. Then I stamped the sentiment on more white card and inked the edges, using dimensionals to attach it to the card.

It is really quick card to make and I love it.
