The Dashing Deer bundle is beautiful and I particularly love this stamp. It is the largest stamp of the set, but you really don’t need much else to make a gorgeous card.

I stamped the deer in Balmy Blue on some thick Whisper White card stock. I ran some more thick Whisper White through the Big Shot, using the Woodland textured embossing folder, which is one of my favourites. Then taking a sponge, because I appear to have filed my brayer somewhere safe, I sponged very lightly with Balmy Blue ink building up where I wanted it.

Using one of the layering ovals, I cut out the aperture and then sponged lightly on the inside edge. I sponged a piece of white cardstock to go behind the deer, again in Balmy Blue, which softened the look of it,

The sentiment was added and then a little bit of bling on the antlers with some basic jewels.
