Moonsong Designs – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

It is that time of year again, when the Pootlers get together to share projects made with goodies from the Autumn/Winter catalogue.

What I really love about the catalogue this year, is that there is lots in it if you don’t reallly do Christmas. I don’t like the standard Christmassy colours of gold, red and green and I love the fact that there are other colours in there. What it means, of course is that you can use the DSP all year.

One of my favourites is the black and white Merry Music Designer Series Paper. It is thinner than the usual DSP, so if you want to use for a bag or box, you will also need some card stock.

I have used the Gift Bag Punch Board for this, but you could make it without. I have also used some of the gorgeous Whisper White Sheer Ribbon and the adorable silver ornaments.

You will need a sheet of card 10″ across. The length, (i.e. the height of the bag) is up to you and depends on the size of your cardstock. I used the score lines for a small bag.

You then need two pieces of DSP at 4 7/16″ x 3 7/16″(9.9 x 6cm) and two pieces at 4 7/16″ x 1 7/16″ (9.9 x 5cm).

The tag is made with the Merry Tags stamp set and the Everyday Label Punch, stamped in Black Archival Ink.

Don’t forget, if you don’t already have one and would like an Autumn Winter catalogue, let me know and I will send one to you.
