Moonsong Designs, UK Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Moroccan Nights Card.
Stampin’ Up’ has demonstrators all over the world, and from time to time teams of Demos join in a blog hop. This partiular hop is a UK/Australian affair with Demos from The Artful Stampers and The Pootlers teams.
I have had the Moroccan Nights stamp set for a while, and although I used it when it first arrived, I have not taken it out of its box for a while. I thought that this was the perfect time to give it an airing.
I stamped the medallion on to Whisper White cardstock, and then heat embossed it in white. I selected three colours of ink, Soft Sky, Blushing Bride and Wisteria Wonder and sponged them on to the card.
I took a sentiment from the Frosted Medallions stamp set, which I heat embossed in white and then layered on inked Whisper White cardstock, in the same three ink colours I use on the card, a piece of plain Whisper White and then some silver Glimmer Paper at the back for a touch of bling.
It is quite a subtle colour scheme which I think works well.
