How much time does it take to make a card? No, it is not the start of a joke. For a simple looking card, this took a great deal of head scratching.
You know when you just don’t know what you want to do. I tried various colour schemes I was not happy with before I hit on Mossy Meadow. This is one of our gorgeous new colours, and I hadn’t used it before and I am so happy with the way these colours go together.
On to a thick Whisper White card I matted the Mossy Meadow card and then cut out the snowflake using the largest of the dies in the Snowfall thinlet set. The smaller snowflake in the centre is one of the stamps from the Snow is Glistening set stamped with Versamark and heat embossed in copper.
The small elements were cut from copper foil sheet using the Snowfall thinlet set and the whole thing was placed over the beautiful copper ribbon.
I am not entirely convinced by the copper label behind the sentiment, but I can work on that.
Let me know what you think.
Don’t forget that these stamp sets and dies are only available until the end of November, and then they are gone, so get yours now.
