Moonsong Designs – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

I thought that I would show you a swap I made for a recent team event.

Inside there is a Green and Blacks mini chocolate (my favourite) and I wanted to use the Orchid Builder bundle I had just had delivered.

I had over 40 swaps to make, so I wanted to keep it simple and easy, and this is both of those things.

I cut my cardstock to 10 x 10cm. Then using the envelope punch board I punched and scored at 5.3 and 6.7cm and wrapped it around the chocolate before securing with a mini glue dot.

I used the simplest of the orchids stamped in Berry Burst and then cut using my Big Shot. The ribbon is the beautiful Lemon Lime Twist and I stamped it with Tranquil Tide.

I had no idea if stamping on ribbon was going to work, and the result really will depend on the type of ribbon you choose. This, I think, worked really well and I am extremely happy with the result.

The ribbon was secured with more mini glue dots and the blossom with a dimensional.

If you are going to make a number of something like this, it is a good idea to make all the flower, cut all the ribbon and cut and score all of the card so that you have a production line sort of affair going.

I loved making and giving this project to my team members, and I loved getting their gorgeous creations in return.
