I don’t think I have made any secret of the fact that I adore the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. I just can’t help it, I love it. So when Sam started the birthday blog hops this year, this was my go to stamp set.

I have used thick Whisper White cardstock, and stamped the dragonfly in the background with Bermuda Bay on to the card mat, and then sponged around the edges.

I used the accompanying dies to cut the detailed dragonfly from Basic Black, the background dragonfly was cut from the Sale-A-Bration Glimmer Paper, again in Bermuda Bay. This was then stuck onto the mat, before I stamped and sponged the sentiment and then added the mat to the card blank.

It is a simple, one colour card which I think works well, particularly with the glimmer paper echoing the shimmering, gossamer dragonfly wings.
