Moonsong Designs – Independent UK Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

We are in the middle of Sale-A-Bration and one of the lovely free things you can get is a stack of DSP called Carried Away – 12 sheets of beautiful paper covered with lovely patterns.

One of the papers reminded me of Oriental Designs and I decided to use it to make a pillow box.

All you need to do, is take a rectangle of card and put adhesive down one long side. I find it easier to roll the paper first. Carefully seal, making sure the edge is straight, and then fold the ends inwards on all four sides. You need to manipulate the paper until you get it the way you want it, and then pinch the corners. You will find that the curve falls naturally.

I punched two flowers in Whisper White using the Petite Petals punch and inked them with Night of Navy before stamping the centre using one of the elements from Sealed with Love and then layering them. The sentiment comes from the same stamp set and then it is cut out with scissors.

I love this and I hope you do too.
