I hope you are enjoying the festive season, and are eating copious amounts of mince pies.

Well, this is it, week 5 of the Pootler’s Design Team challenge for December.

A fair bit of head scratching took place for this weeks project, and then I suddenly thought of wellies which are a staple of gardening in this country.

The stamp for the wellies came from the Gift From the Garden stamp set, which is a set I really should use more. They are stamped in Mint Macaron on to Very Vanilla cardstock which is matted onto Mint Macaron.

I then used Mint Macaron, Old Olive and Tangerine Tango inks for the plants (including the flowers poking out of the boots) and then Early Espresso for the soil.

My cards are always pretty simple, and this is no exception.

I have loved the challenge that Sam set (although I am not sure I quite love the stamp set). I have loved seeing what the other ladies have come up with, and the wide range of projects that are possible based on a single stamp set. It has been a lot of fun, and once I have recovered, I may just volunteer for a future challenge.
