Moonsong Designs – Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

The design for this came to me as I was dropping off to sleep the other night, but I was not sure it was going to work.

I wanted it to look like a Fairy was peering through the door into the very early morning while the moon was up, but the sun was just waking up.

I first stamped the cloche stamp from Live, Love Grow in Black Archival Ink. Then I used an Aqua Painter and Night of Navy ink starting at the top where it should be darkest, to paint in the sky.

The Fairy was stamped in the Black Archival ink as were the plants, and I used a Basic Black Write Marker to ink them in. A moon was punched from some Whisper White card with the 1/4″ Circle Punch which I gently rubbed Crumb Cake ink over. A basic Rhinestone finished off the picture.

I cut it out, stuck it to a piece of Basic Black cardstock, and finished the card with the sentiment stamped in White Stazon backed with a scrap of silver Glimmer Paper.
