lantern lantern1

This is probably the quickest and easiest project I have ever made.

I measured the candle glass carfully and cut a piece of vellum to fit, remembering to allow for some overlap at the back.

I used the smallest of the Detailed Floral Thinlets dies which I placed it in the middle of the vellum horizontally, and about two thirds down vertically and ran it through the Big Shot.

I ran Fast Fuse down one edge at the back and wrapped it around the glass. Done!

I don’t recommend these for lit candles, but would suggest battery operated t-lights. For the purposes of illustration, I have filled the glass with string lights usually used on Christmas trees. There I have said it, Christmas. Someone said recently that there were 100 days to do. Eek! These dotted around the room during the festive season would be lovely.

I used

Plain Vellum

Big Shot and the following thinlets
