I like simple and I like easy and this card is both. Serene Silhouettes stamp set from Stampin’ Up! is lovely and lends itself perfectly to a quick, simple card.

This is probably my favourite card making technique. Not only does it involve heat embossing, which I happen to love, but something quite magical happens when you sponge ink over the top.

On a piece of Whisper White card, I stamped the image twice, once in Island Indigo and then in Versamark over the top. This top image was then heat embossed in white before I took some ink on a sponge and rubbed it in a random fashion over a portion of the card.

The card blank is Whisper White which I sponged in Island Indigo and then sandwiched between the two, is a further piece of card heat embossed in clear. I think it would work just as well stamping the image in Island Indigo straight onto the card.

There you have it. A quick, simple card!
